2d CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 288(RLS) "An Act changing the name                                         
of the Department of Community and Economic Development to the                                      
Department of Commerce and Community and Economic                                                   
Development" was read the second time.                                                              
                                                                                                    
Senator Gary Stevens, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for                                  
the adoption of the State Affairs Senate Committee Substitute offered                               
on page 2067. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE                                         
BILL NO. 288(STA) "An Act changing the name of the Department of                                    
Community and Economic Development to the Department of                                             
Commerce, Community, and Economic Development" (title change                                        
authorized by SCR 20) was adopted.                                                                  
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                              
passage. Senator Ellis objected.                                                                    
                                                                                                    
President Therriault stated SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL                                         
NO. 288(STA) will be on the May 9 calendar.
